You can spot servers that fake their player count on battlemetrics. They either have 0 players or the count does not change over 24h. These servers probably also fake their ping, so

the state of south american servers is a dumpster fire. official servers are hosted in the USA, community servers that are vanilla either have 10 pop, those that get past a 100

I cant play vital rust servers, i can play any other server without problems but this one for some reason keeps disconnecting me and its getting really frustrating since i always wait
They need to deal with this kind of servers. Pop info and wipe time is fake. Pop seems always the same. Everyday they change the info and type wiped today. It says 10 min old but when you get inside there are already bunch of big bases. : r/playrust
